Laura Warmington - RN BsN
Laura Warmington is a registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Victoria. She is a casual employee with Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA) where she works in Surgical Daycare. She has worked in this capacity for two years, and cares for a variety of pre and post surgical patients. Her experience in surgical daycare has given her the opportunity to increase her intravenous insertion and maintenance skills, as she starts and manages many pre-operative IV's per shift. Laura also works as the patient care co-coordinator for the Family Medicine Clinic.
Laura brings her skill and experience in IV care and maintenance to our IV therapy suite. She will be delivering our nutrient IVs, such as Meyer's Cocktails and glutathione.
Laura's passion in nursing allows her to provide holistic, preventative health care. Currently, Laura is enjoying being a new mother and aslo works as a birth doula and breastfeeding educator.
